I Blue It 4.0

The "I Blue It 4.0" is a Serious Game for Respiratory Rehabilitation. The player controls the Blue Dolphin on its journey through the phases of the game and aims to assist in respiratory rehabilitation.

Target public:

Players with respiratory diseases (children and adults).

Controls:

The digital game communicates with one or more of the following devices:

  • Pitaco;
  • Mano-BD;
  • Pressure Belt;
  • Digital Pulse Oximeter.

These allow capturing the player's breathing process (except the Oximeter which captures oxygenation and heart rate). Blue's movements (the dolphin) are controlled according to the respiratory actions (inhaling or exhaling) that the player does on the device.

  • Inhale -> Up;
  • Exhale -> Down.

Rules:

The player must capture targets (green) and dodge obstacles (red) to score and pass the level.

Requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows / Linux;
  • Pitaco, or Mano-BD, or Pressure Belt (control devices, you can choose any of them, it is not necessary to build all of them), with the possibility of use in conjunction with a Digital Pulse Oximeter;
  • Game installation package (link below);
  • A responsible (specialist) to monitor the use of the game.
